From a single seed in a package, the beautiful flower to the left was born. What did I do? I bought the seed. I planted the seed in soil. I gave it water. I provided the environment. I planted many seeds that day, and everything was done the same for each seed, and yet, only a few sprouted. Why? Because no matter what I did or how hard I worked, I could not control what was within the seed. That decision was in “Someone” else’s hands.

Grace to you and peace from God the Father our Lord Jesus Christ . . .
Galatians 1:3
The same is within these pages. I can prepare the studies, write down the words, update this web site, but who reads these words, who finds refreshment and growth is not in my control. I provide the environment, but everything else is in “Someone” else’s hands. That “Someone” is the Creator of the entire universe; Master of both the wise and the fools; the Lord of all creation - the amazing, almighty, all powerful, one true God.
My prayer is that God will bless these pages and bring to these words those He has chosen. As for me? I have no power but what comes from my Lord, Jesus Christ. I am no master. No magician. . . . I am but the tender of the garden.
